grub-ieee1275-bin software package provides GRand Unified Bootloader, version 2 (Open Firmware binaries), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install grub-ieee1275-bin
grub-ieee1275-bin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the grub-ieee1275-bin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep grub-ieee1275-bin *
You will get with grub-ieee1275-bin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
